About ATS Norway AS
ATS Norway are specialists in mediating the sale of used equipment for the construction and transport industry. Registered address is Industriveien 43B, 7080 Heimdal.
---------------------------
What is personal data?
Personal information is all information and assessments that can be linked to you as an individual. Typical personal data are name, address, telephone number, e-mail and social security number. According to the law, certain identification numbers are also personal data, and examples of this are: IP address, customer number, cookie ID/online identifier (anonymized). Information about your behavior (usage patterns, actions) is also defined as personal data.
Why do we collect personal data?
The purpose of processing the personal data that you have registered about you is primarily to mediate the purchase and sale of used equipment for the construction and transport industry - via our webpage at atsnorway.no.
Our service requires that the buyer and seller must have created their own user in, with the personal data this entails (~see which personal data is collected), in order to be able to buy and/or post products for sale. In addition to this, registered information about you is used to provide a perfect customer process for handling shipping, contracts and settlements.
Your contact details that are registered to your user will be used to be able to send you a notification by email, if you have set up a predefined search and when there is equipment for sale that matches this search. These searches can be deleted by you at any time. You will also be notified at your registered e-mail address when your ads are ready for display.
If you were to reset your password, your registered e-mail will also be used to complete this task. Your registered telephone number is used when logging in for the first time using a passcode.
We may use your information for profiling in connection with marketing. We can also obtain systematized personal data from credit reporting companies.
What personal data do we collect?
In order to fulfill our mediation service at atsauksjon.no, we require the following user-registered personal data from you:
- Name
- Telephone number
- Address
- Accountnummer
If you provide us with additional information, e.g. via the creation of own advertisements, this will also be stored with us. However, there is an option in the solution to anonymize information in images, e.g. registration number etc.
Our solution can transfer ads to Mascus. These transfers will primarily be data relating to goods for sale, but personal information provided in images (which have been uploaded by you) can be transferred if this has not been anonymised. (We never require personal information in our free text fields, but if you have provided personal information in these fields, this will be stored with us. We therefore encourage you to avoid providing more information than is absolutely necessary to make a purchase/sale).
In addition, the website uses various technologies so that we can continuously improve it for the benefit of the user. These are technologies such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which help us to analyze traffic and use of the website.
